Carol Voorhees has served as Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer since October 2024.

Voorhees leads NJM’s commercial and personal lines of business for one of the Mid-Atlantic region's leading property and casualty insurers. In this role, she helps ensure that providing a superior customer experience remains the Company’s guiding principle.

She also oversees NJM’s Marketing Department, strategically promoting NJM’s nationally recognized customer and claims service.

Voorhees joined NJM in 1996 as a systems analyst. Over the ensuing years, she held positions of increasing responsibility. In 2018, she was elected by the Board of Directors to Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer.

She represents NJM on the NJ PBS Board of Trustees and the Thomas Edison State University Foundation Board. In addition, Voorhees is an active member of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriting Society and holds a CPCU designation.

Voorhees graduated from Thomas Edison State University with a B.S. in organizational leadership and earned an M.S. in insurance management from Boston University.
